Polyester degradation and especially biodegradation is one of the hotest research topics worldwide due to its huge accumulation on landfills. Polyester is not a biodedradable polymer, and its mass use for everyday objects such as cups, plates and others leads a great universal problem, known as 'white pollution'. Our work in this project was to first evaluate experimental results of a novel methodology for assisted polyester biodegradation and ghost write a scientific paper to describe it. The methodology is participating in the advanced stages of an international competition with great chances of winning a reward!
