Hydronics based domestic heating system - Rocket Mass Heater modification
Our clients asked us to modify and re-design a Rocket Mass Heater for domestic application in a remote area in Australia. Our work was to model the overall system, calculate the required sizes for appropriate mass and heat transfer for a water based heat tank. Our work concluded in a fully dimensionalized RMH system, with fully described energy and mass balances. Implementation of our work was complete during 2014 winter.
